One key reason why Gregory Bolan is a Senior Research Analyst covering Healthcare IT and Pharmaceutical Services for Avondale Partners, LLC, is because of his extensive experience as a research analyst. Avondale Partners is a well-known boutique investment banking and asset management firm, so they look for the most experienced. Before Avondale, Greg was the Managing Director of Healthcare Equity Research with Sterne Agee, in their Nashville office. While he was there, his primary emphasis was on the pharmaceutical industry. Greg also helped that firm to build a talented team of healthcare analysts to examine healthcare sub-sectors, such as specialty pharma, medical devices and diagnostics, and managed care.
Gregory Bolan has received some recognition for his work. For example, Starmine named him as a No. 1 Stock Picker for Life Science Tools & Services in 2014. Before that, in 2010, Institutional Investor's All-American Research Team Survey called him a “Best Up & Comer.” His financial services career has largely been focused on the healthcare and targeted middle market sectors. In addition to the experience noted above, he was also a Director of Healthcare Equity Research for Wells Fargo Securities’ Nashville office for a time and he served as a senior associate for healthcare equity research with Jefferies & Company, also in Nashville and an associate with a healthcare focus for FNY GMG Capital in New York City. At the heart of his experience is Greg Bolan’s education. After high school, he spent four years in the United States Army, as an Infantry Rifleman and Squad Leader, so he received a great life education. He also has an academic education, having earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Finance from Emory University’s prestigious Goizueta Business School. Comments are closed.
