It can’t be denied that Greg Bolan’s experience as a research analyst is very strong. That is the main reason he is currently a Senior Research Analyst covering Healthcare IT and Pharmaceutical Services at Avondale Partners, LLC. Avondale is a Nashville-based boutique investment banking and asset management firm with a keen eye on the future.
Before his current role at Avondale Partners, Greg served as the Managing Director of Healthcare Equity Research with the Nashville office of Sterne Agee, where he focused primarily on pharmaceutical companies. In 2014, Greg Bolan was recognized as a No. 1 Stock Picker for Life Science Tools & Services by Starmine. Back in 2010, he was named one of the “Best Up & Comers” as part of Institutional Investor's All-American Research Team Survey. At Sterne Agee, Greg Boland also played a crucial role when it came to building an extremely skilled and knowledgeable team of healthcare analysts to examine such sub-sectors as Specialty Pharma, Managed Care and Medical Devices & Diagnostics. So far, Greg’s financial services career has been focused on the healthcare and targeted middle market sectors. He has spent extensive time as a Director of Healthcare Equity Research for Wells Fargo Securities and he has also been a Senior Associate of Healthcare Equity Research with Jefferies & Company. Almost all of his work has been in Nashville, although he was also an Associate with a focus in healthcare at FNY GMG Capital in New York City, as well. Greg also has a lot of education. After four years in the United States Army as an Infantry Rifleman and Squad Leader, Greg Bolan went on to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Finance from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
